The Learning Workshop admits students of any race, religious, color, national, or ethnic origin, sex, or with the presence of any sensory, mental or physical disability. We are also an equal opportunities employer.
To apply for admission, follow these steps:
1. To ensure that both parents (Read “both parents” as “all decision making adults that have guardianship of the child”.) have a good sense of the style and program offered, both parents must read the Parent Handbook and observe at least one hour in our classroom.
2. Submit a completed application form with a non-refundable $35.00 application fee prior to April 1. After April 1, please contact The Learning Workshop - we may still have openings. You can call 206-855-1736 or use the contact form.

3. Have your child spend part of the morning at The Learning Workshop, preferably without you.
4. Attend a conference with the teacher. The purpose of the conference is to discuss the compatibility of the philosophy and activities of The Learning Workshop with the goals you have for your child and his/her temperament and learning style.
5. Complete the enrollment packet, which includes Register, Certificate of Immunization Status, Agreement, Permission Authorizations and About My Child. Submit the packet with the $100 materials fee within ten days of conference. The $100 non-refundable materials fee is required, per child, to complete enrollment. All enrollment papers must be received prior to children attending The Learning Workshop.
Re-enrolling parents must submit an Intent to Re-enroll with a $100 non-refundable materials fee. Certificate of Immunization Status must be updated as changes occur.
Summer sessions have a separate registration form.
